Addiction is a harrowing experience for any family to go through. But as we have seen time and time again, miracles happen at CRI-Help — and lasting recovery can be achieved. No matter how many attempts your loved one has made at recovery, we believe in their potential to live a productive, fulfilling, substance-free life.
Family and friends are a vital part of the recovery community. And it’s important to honor that family and friends are often experiencing their own trials and heartaches, since substance use disorder can have harmful consequences not just on the addicted person, but on the family and friends that surround them. At CRI-Help, we believe that when family and friends are educated about substance use disorder — and about the recovery process — they can provide more confident, informed support along their loved one’s recovery journey.
CRI-Help is pleased to offer a weekly informational group for family members of current clients. At this Family Education Group, you will be able to learn about the basics of substance use disorder, CRI-Help’s treatment methods, and the networks of support we provide.
CRI-Help also offers a comprehensive Family Orientation Handbook that covers topics ranging from substance use disorder, relapse, details about CRI-Help’s programs, supporting your loved one throughout treatment, along with guidance on supporting yourself.
Our work has a lasting impact on the community.
