Sober Living

CRI-Help offers sober living environments (also known as drug-free recovery housing) to existing outpatient clients, CRI-Help alumni, and adults accessing SUD services via partner providers. For many clients, sober living is a confidence-boosting step on the journey toward sustainable independent living. Residents must abide by a daily curfew, are not permitted to consume any drugs or alcohol, must attend outpatient treatment, seek and obtain employment, and undergo random, supervised drug and alcohol testing.
Sober living also encourages accountability. Each sober living resident is responsible for shared household chores, and is required to participate in community 12-step meetings and house meetings. As with all aspects of CRI-Help, sober living emphasizes the importance of community throughout the recovery process.
CRI-Help’s sober living homes offer semi-private rooming where a house manager assesses applicants, monitors activity, and assures a supportive, substance-free environment for all residents. The house manager also coordinates facility maintenance and provides reports on resident progress.
CRI-Help’s sober living homes meet and exceed CCAPP’s Recovery Residence Standards.
