Residential Treatment

Overview

Our residential treatment program is designed to provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment for those seeking to break free from substance abuse and embark on a journey toward lasting recovery.

A Comprehensive Approach to Recovery

At CRI-Help, we believe that recovery is a holistic process that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of addiction. Our residential treatment program is crafted to cater to the unique needs of each individual, offering a comprehensive approach that includes withdrawal management (medical detoxification), individual and group therapy, educational workshops, and aftercare planning.

Personalized Treatment Plans

Understanding that each person's experience with addiction is unique, our team of dedicated professionals works closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans. These plans are tailored to address the specific challenges and needs of the individual, ensuring that they receive the most effective and relevant care.

Evidence-Based Therapies

Our residential treatment program incorporates a variety of evidence-based therapies that have been proven to be effective in treating addiction. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and more. Through individual and group therapy sessions, clients learn to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.

Our clients’ programming is thoughtfully curated using therapeutic, person-centered approaches.  Clients select from a menu of clinical services with their primary counselor to ensure that their most pressing needs are addressed in a timely manner. For example, we offer LGBTQIA+ services that include tailored 12-step involvement, peer support, individualized group schedules, and pairing with LGBTQIA+ practitioners. Clients coping with PTSD or other trauma disorders can access trauma-informed care services from therapists who are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and neurofeedback. Latino and Spanish-speaking adults can access a full range of services in Spanish without the use of translators.

Holistic Care

At CRI-Help, we recognize the importance of addressing the whole person, not just the addiction. Our holistic approach includes activities and therapies that promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Clients have access to fitness programs, meditation, acupuncture, art therapy, and other activities that support overall health and wellness.

Family Involvement

We understand that addiction affects not only the individual but also their loved ones. Our program includes family therapy sessions and educational workshops to help families understand addiction, learn effective communication skills, and rebuild trust. By involving families in the recovery process, we aim to strengthen the support network that is crucial for long-term success. Life Skills and Education

Recovery is not just about overcoming addiction; it's about building a fulfilling and productive life. Our program includes life skills training and educational workshops that help clients develop practical skills for daily living. From job readiness and financial management to stress reduction and healthy relationships, we equip our clients with the tools they need to thrive in their recovery and beyond.

12-Step Integration

CRI-Help was founded upon the belief that building a recovery network is an integral component of sustainable, long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Clients are introduced to a 12-step program (e.g., Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous), based on their SUD history, where they interact with peers who share their same lived experience. The therapeutic benefit of establishing relationships with peers in the community, who are living meaningful, successful lives without the use of drugs and alcohol, provides clients hope that change is possible. Clients attend off-site 12-step meetings throughout the week so they have established relationships with healthy, recovery-focused friends post-residential treatment.

Discharge Planning

We believe that effective discharge planning begins on day one. Clients work alongside their counselor to develop a Continuing Care plan that outlines their goals following residential treatment, which often includes stepping down to a lower level of care such as outpatient treatment, (CRI-Help Outpatient) alongside sober living (Transitional Living)/Recovery Bridge Housing.

Aftercare and Alumni Support

Recovery is a lifelong journey, and our commitment to our clients extends beyond their time in residential treatment. Our aftercare program provides ongoing support and resources to help clients maintain their sobriety and continue their personal growth. Additionally, our alumni network offers a community of support, allowing individuals to connect with others who share their experiences and goals. CRI-Help’s Continuing Care and Privilege Card program are designed to provide ongoing support to residential clients post-treatment. Privilege Card holders seeking respite from stressful daily living can access CRI-Help’s residential facilities seven days a week, follow-up with counselors and peer support specialists, and connect with other alumni in a safe, drug-free environment.

Our work has a lasting impact on the community.
