For over 50 years, CRI-Help has prided itself on maintaining one clear mission: to improve the welfare of the community by providing first-class substance use disorder treatment for adults and families seeking freedom from the bondage of addiction.
At CRI-Help, we understand that recovery flourishes when a connection is made between the individual and their community. We are proud to facilitate and deepen that connection for each person who enters our program searching for long-term recovery.
CRI-Help opened its doors for the first time in 1971 in Sun Valley, CA, with a humble facility catering to just six clients and their families. Our program allowed individuals to contribute what they could afford, and stay for up to 18 months. From these modest beginnings, CRI-Help has grown to become a pillar in the greater Los Angeles recovery community, operating over 300 DHCS licensed residential beds, from North Hollywood (Pfleger Residential) in the San Fernando Valley to East Hollywood (Socorro) and Lincoln Heights. (Lincoln Heights Recovery Campus) Five decades later, we continue to offer a sliding scale fee and offer services to families from all socio-econominc backgrounds.
With each client, CRI-Help strives to embody its core values of compassion, community, integrity, and care. Our community has touched tens of thousands of people’s lives, and shown time and time again that freedom from addiction isn’t just a possibility — it is a reality that can be yours at CRI-Help.
